The fuel price for RON97 drops by four sen starting from July 7 to 13. Making the current price for RON97 at RM 4.80 per litre.

The Ministry of Finance stated that they will maintain the ceiling prices of RON95 for RM2.05 per litre and diesel for RM2.15 per litre even though the actual prices for both products have increased over the ceiling price. This was to ensure that users will not be affected with the actual global price.

"The government will continue to monitor the impact of crude oil price fluctuations and take appropriate measures to safeguard the well-being of the people," said the Ministry of Finance.
