Geely Auto 2022 Half Year Financial Report

Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd sold a total of 613,845 vehicles making revenues of RM 38.2 billion (58.2 billion RMB) and net income of RM 0.84 billion (1.28 billion RMB) for the first half year 2022.

A total of 109,000 of those sales comprises of EVs and new energy cars which made 17.9% of total revenue for the business and a rise of 398% year over year (YoY) growth. The company's average selling price per car climbed by 21.1% to RMB 102,000 thanks to the more modern models and lower product prices.


The Xingyue L Hi-F (HEV), Emgrand L Hi-P (PHEV), Geometry E (BEV), and other intelligent and electrified new models were successfully introduced by the car maker under the Geely Auto and Geometry brands, respectively.

Four of the models under the Geely Auto brand underwent an electronic architecture upgrade from a dispersed control electronic architecture (GEEA1.0) to a centralised domain electronic architecture (GEEA2.0), along with support for the most recent Qualcomm 8155 vehicle microchips.

Geely Auto export sales have topped 88,000 units, an increase of 64% YoY, and accounting for 14.3% of the company's overall sales. Meanwhile, for Lynk & Co's European business, there’s 10,912 delivery units recorded which is an increase of 3,986% in H1 2022.
