A Honda e, owned by HRH Tunku Temenggong Johor, Tunku Idris Iskandar Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, was struck by a Singapore-registered BMW 3 series.

The images and CCTV footage were posted by Tunku Idris via his Instagram page accompanied with a rather apt caption of  "Perangai" - attitude. This was in reference to the careless motorist who not only collided with and damaged his Honda e whilst parking in a nearby parking lot, but also nonchalantly walked away as if nothing happened!

Given that the impact of the incident is clearly visible on the video, the BMW 3 series driver could not have been unaware. It is unclear whether the incident has been resolved since it was published on social media.

What do you folks think? Should errant drivers from across the causeway like this BMW driver be reprimanded? What would be a just punishment? Let us know in the comments below!

As the "Urban EV," the Honda e debuted in prototype form back 2017 and again as a pre-production prototype in 2019. The EV then went into production in 2020 where it has garnered critical reception in several key markets where it went on sale.

Priced from around RM180k in Malaysia through parallel (grey) importers, its arrival in our market space through such channels is a reflection of Honda's policy toward selling certain vehicles such as the Honda e outside of select markets such as Europe and Japan.

By the way, CariCarz.com has had the privilege of sampling the Honda e locally, which you can view in our feature video below.
