- Citroen’s New Version Of The Electric Ami Buggy, The My Ami Tonic
![]()
Expanding its Ami electric buggy range with a new vivacious version, Citroen presents the My Ami Tonic, an energising expression to the other side of Ami’s character.
Positioned at the top of the range, the new My Ami Tonic adds colourful decorative elements to many of the accessories available on other versions.
Namely, it comes with new customization features to the equipment, and new styling details with a colour combo that is fresh and vibrant.

In terms of the equipment, the My Ami Tonic’s exterior gets a new outlook, highlighted with new headlamp bezels designed to resemble sunglasses.
Then, setting it apart from other Amis are the wheel trims, black front panel under the windscreen, front and rear bumpers for added robustness, wheel arches and roof bars.
Interior-wise, the features are standard. E.g., a smartphone clamp, three storage bins, door nets, a central separation net, a bag hook, floor mats and the ‘Dat@mi’ dongle smartphone connectivity.

As for the colour combination, it gets a new khaki shade that appears on the exterior trim and lower door stickers.
Whereas in the interior, it can be seen on the storage bins that is built into the dashboard, and also on the edgings around the door nets.
The Khaki shade is then paired with Yellow, bringing vivid accents to the exclusively made for the My Ami Tonic door stickers.

It adorns the two recesses on the front panel, the straps used to open and close the doors from the passenger compartment, and the bag hook on the passenger side.
Moreover, said Yellow is also used to draw attention to the directional arrows, graphics placed on the body to guide passengers in using Ami’s features.
For example, the arrows on the rear quarter-panels show how to open the windows, and those on the wheel arches offer a way of checking that the wheels are aligned properly.

Other than that, three white directional arrows, positioned in a downward sequence inside the door panel show how to move the handle to open the door.
A sticker on the window flaps specifies the GPS coordinates for the longitude of the Stellantis Group’s technical centre, the ADN (Automotive Design Network) which is located in Vélizy.
Lastly, two small details emphasise the My Ami Tonic’s all-electric nature with an adhesive ‘+’ on the driver’s door handle and a ‘-‘ on the passenger’s door handle, symbolising the poles of a battery.
Pricing-wise, this version is already available in France, either as a cash purchase starting at EUR 8,990 (MYR 40,150), or as a long-term lease starting at EUR 34.99 (MYR 156) a month.
That said, the My Ami Tonic will be marketed in France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Greece, Morocco and Turkey. All orders are via the citroen.fr/ami website.
