The 2023 INFINITI QX60 now comes with the added convenience of INFINITI Premium Care, along with getting subtly refined inside and out.

Firstly, the INFINITI Premium Care includes three years of oil changes, tire rotations, inspections and more. Aside from the QX60, it is also offered for all INFINITI 2023 vehicles in the US.

As for the refinements, they include a standard wireless phone charging pad on all grades, a new frameless rear-view mirror, and new accent colours for the lower bumper trim.

Namely, the new accent colours come in gloss black on the LUXE grade, and dark grey on the SENSORY and AUTOGRAPH.

Speaking of which, the 2023 QX60 is available in four grades, PURE, LUXE, SENSORY and AUTOGRAPH. The QX60 is on sale now with a starting price of USD 49,200 (MYR 220,760).

Now let’s take a gander at the SUV as a whole. Exterior-wise, the front end stands out with a design highlighted by an origami-esque mesh grille and lighting signatures evoking digital piano keys.

Flipping to the back, its simplistic layout is very well accentuated by a set of sharp, slit-like tail lights, a sporty integrated diffuser, and an INFINITI script in the middle of the tailgate to top it all off.

Elsewhere, the overall design features smooth and seamless contours, of which does a really good job at exuding its commanding presence.

Then, diving inside, enveloping the occupants with premium quality all-around are semi-aniline leather seats, open-pore wood and ambient lighting.

Spacious and functional, it can fit up to seven passengers for the first three grades, whereas the AUTOGRAPH grade fits six, with available second-row captain's chairs.

Besides that, all grades get INFINITI’s Zero Gravity-inspired seats, plus a second-row seating that tilts and slides to provide access to the third row, without the need to remove a child safety seat.

Next, the boot space is very generous, loading up to a total 2,135 litres of room with the second and third rows folded. It also has a standard power liftgate with motion-activated liftgate feature.

In terms of connectivity, all grades include INFINITI InTouch with a 12.3-inch display featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and USB-based Android Auto.

It also has the newly standard wireless device charging mat located in the front centre console, along with several USB ports located around the cabin.

For example, the latter offers six in PURE, LUXE, SENSORY, and seven in AUTOGRAPH, for all three rows of seats with both Type-A and Type-C ports.

On top of that, equipped is a 12.3-inch Dynamic Meter display, a 10.8-inch head-up display, and a Bose Performance series with 17-speaker audio system.

Performance-wise, it sports a 3.5-litre direct-injected V6 engine, producing 295 HP and 366 NM of torque, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Said setup comes with INFINITI’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, and allows a maximum tow load of up to 2,722 kg.

Interestingly, the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive can direct up to 50% of available power to the rear wheels to help optimize traction in varying circumstances.

To further tailor the drive experience, every QX60 features a drive mode selector with five settings, including Snow, Sport and the configurable Personal.

Lastly, safety-wise. Standard systems include forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, predictive forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, blind spot warning, lane departure warning and high beam assist.

Other features installed are Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, a Smart Rear View Mirror, Driver Attention Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition, and ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link.

That said, the new INFINITI Premium Care and the subtly fresh outlook is what the customers would be drawn to, when it comes to the refined, functional and elegant 2023 QX60.
