- Digital Licence Plate Trend Booming in California

Digital licence plates are now legal for passenger cars in three states naming California, Michigan, and Arizona.
The California state government has permitted vehicle owners to use Reviver's suite of products as an alternative to the traditional licence plates, stickers, tabs, and registration cards issued by the California DMV.
According to the digital licence plate developer, more than 10,000 vehicles are equipped with a monochromatic HD display that can be swapped between light or dark modes depending on drivers’ preferences as part of their pilot programme.

The new evolution from traditional licence plate to a more advanced and aesthetic digital licence plate marks the first milestone of its entrance especially in the automotive market which sees growth and development.
New features that soon to be added into the digital licence plate includes family services and alerts, stolen car reporting and recovery spot, tolling system integration, vehicle diagnostic and maintenance alerts, additional DMV transactions and parking and other payment services.
