- Diversion at PLUS Juru Interchange from Oct 6 to Nov 13 2022
Heads up North-South Expressway (NSE) users, a traffic diversion will be enforced at the Juru Interchange (Northbound) for all vehicles, starting on Oct 6 (Thursday, 12AM) until Nov 13 (Sunday, 11PM), 2022.
In a press statement issued this week by PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS), the operator states that the road diversion is meant to accommodate safe space to perform road works to upgrade the capacity of the current drainage systems nearby Juru, Penang. Additionally, said effort is also part of PLUS’s Flood Mitigation Plan.
The upgrade work will be performed in stages in order to prevent any further inconveniences for users throughout the work period stated earlier. Said traffic diversion starts from the entry ramp heading towards Pulau Pinang-Alor Setar at the Juru Interchange (Northbound).
NSE users heading north are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and be aware of this diversion. Motorists are also advised to always follow the speed limits and traffic signs when passing through this area.
