- MINI Edition Models Receives New Fresh Colours
Check out these exclusive design and equipment features that give the MINI Edition models a very distinctive look! Starting next month in November 2022, each of these models’ personalities will appear with a new paint finishing that brings some colour into the lives of MINI drivers.
Through unique, integrated, and aesthetic features, the Resolute Editions available for MINI 3 door, MINI 5 door and MINI Convertible will be painted in Nanuq White and Enigmatic Black. More than that, the Untold Edition for MINI Clubman and Untamed Edition for MINI Countryman will also come in a new paintwork finish.
First off, the Midnight Black II version of the MINI Untold Edition will be offered for the MINI Cooper S and MINI Clubman John Cooper Works ALL4. The side scuttles, which are made with a high-quality 3D printing technology and the black band with the extra available paint finish, are then made in black rather than sage green.
The distinctive design elements of the Untold Edition give the MINI Clubman's distinctive exterior a particularly captivating appearance. In the middle of the bonnet and roof are five thin Sport Stripes that are parallel to one another.
The Untamed Edition's desire for freedom is highlighted by the edition's name, "Untamed," which is inscribed on the side scuttles, door sills, seat backs, and the lower spoke of the steering wheel.
More than that, the MINI Untamed Edition emphasised the robust charisma of the MINI Countryman which focuses on the vehicle's off-road potential. On top of the particularly stylish all-rounder with a variable interior and a luggage volume of 450 to 1.390 litres, it will also be available in Nanuq White.
In addition to the body, a new colour option extends to the MINI logos, the rear and front bumpers, the side skirts, and the underbody protection.
Then we can observe here that the extremely environmentally friendly MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4's edition-specific graphics on the door, side scuttles, and E-Logo Badge gives a strong appearance with the hue Frozen Blue Stone.
As for MINI Cooper S, it features the horizontal radiator grille strutt and the inner radiator grille frame, which are both finished in Piano Black, as well as the tailpipe trim of the exhaust system along with the brand emblems that creates an appealing contrast.
The Resolute Edition of MINI 3 door and MINI 5 door, both adopt a black strip running all the way around the lower edge of the windows. Adding on to that, the extravagant individual appearance is also characterised by the edition-specific bonnet stripes with a colour gradient between a light and a dark gold tone.
These include the surrounds for the headlights, the radiator grille and the rear lights, the side scuttles on the front side walls, the handles on the doors and tailgate and, in the case of the MINI Cooper S, the air inlets in the front apron and the fuel tank cap.
Moving to the Active Guard System, models like MINI 3 door, the MINI 5 door and the MINI Convertible will have forward collision warning systems in the future.
At speeds between 10 and 60 km/h, the driver assistance system also brakes the vehicle. Lane Departure Warning signals when the vehicle is about to leave its lane on roads with lane markings. It is also part of the Driving Assistant.
Then, with the camera-based, active cruise control (ACC), in addition to the set speed, the distance to the vehicle in front is automatically regulated in flowing motorway and country road traffic. The system is active between 30 and 140 km/h.
The MINI Driving Assistant, which has additional features that enhance comfort and safety, has now been added to the list of standard equipment.
