A $10,000 Apple iPhone Cover, Inspired by Ferrari Concept Car
Pininfarina, the famous Italian automotive designer, has expressed interest in making a limited-edition Apple iPhone case inspired by the classic Ferrari 512 S Modulo Concept. In a collaboration with Inkar who has spent two years designing it, the final result has led to only 99 units of each iPhone model to be produced.
The list price is a full RM 45 K ($10,000), so if you want one, be aware that they are not cheap! However, for those who can afford it, you may visit Inkar’s online store starting December 1 to purchase one of these exclusive items and perhaps share with us the feedback.
Before we go any further, Android users should know that the cover is only compatible with the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro models.
To continue, the pricey iPhone cover meant to combine the most advanced technologies with premium materials, in addition to being entirely customisable and one of the very first Pininfarina designs.
Each one is handcrafted from high-end materials, including dead-stock leathers from the supercar and has an engraved serial number to attest to its exclusivity. This is ideal for spotting posers who could try to get into your exclusive high-roller phone case club with a counterfeit model.
When placing an order, the customer will be able to select from five different colours, two different lens leathers, and 10 different backing plates made of leather, carbon fibre, natural wood, or aluminium. However, only the first five are exclusive redline silver casings hand drawn by artists.
Paolo Lugaro, the designer, has cleverly incorporated Pininfarina Modulo design aspects into the iPhone cases, such as the 24 holes in the engine cover and the car's exquisite and unique shape.
Just so you know, the cases are made in Italy at one of the finest companies producing premium goods using cutting-edge technology. Owners will also receive an NFT digital certificate to prove ownership.
There you go! A $10,000 Apple iPhone case inspired by the Ferrari Modulo concept.
