Six Injured, 4 Vehicles Damaged By Fallen Tree In Taman Maluri During Heavy Downpour

Six persons were injured yesterday when a tree fell onto their vehicles on Jalan Mahkota in Taman Maluri following a heavy downpour.
The incident involved three cars and a motorcycle that were travelling through the region when the tree was uprooted by severe winds, according to Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Mazuri Mat Zain.

When the department was notified of the incident at 4.07 p.m., it dispatched 18 firefighters from the Hang Tuah and Bandar Tun Razak fire stations, as well as the emergency service assistance unit, to the location.
"The six victims, two men, two women, and two children aged two to 70, suffered trauma and minor injuries and were taken to Hospital Ampang for treatment.
Mazuri Mat Zain further added "To clear the obstructed route, the cutting and removing of the fallen tree was performed by the Civil Defence Force and the City Hall of Kuala Lumpur.
