Recently on Nov 28, our newly appointed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has welcomed the arrival of Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah along with his son, the Pengiran Muda Abdul Mateen Bolkiah at Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Subang.

Following His Majesty’s arrival, the Sultan inspected a guard of honour mounted by the Malaysian Army, led by Major Mohd Faudzi Che Hashim. Aside from that, Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Zuki Ali, was also present to greet the Sultan.

However, what’s more interesting and buzzing the news outlet added during His Majesty’s visit, Sultan of Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah drove Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to Seri Perdana for their first official visit in a black BMW 5 Series - 528i.

Aside that, a group of onlookers and security vehicles escorted the BMW as it travelled to Anwar's official residence in Putrajaya.

On a different note, Sultan of Brunei himself is recognised as a car lover. As reported, His Majesty owns more than 7000 units of automobiles and owns 600 Rolls Royces, 550 Ferraris, and 380 Bentleys in the collection.
