Wilson further said that, "These 4WD ambulances are needed because we will expand our (APM) teams in Belaga, Song (in Kapit of central Sarawak) and Limbang (north of Sarawak)".
He also stressed that these 4WD ambulances are extremely important due to the natural condition of the terrains in the state rural areas posing a challenge to be served by regular ambulances.

This proposal would join in with the existing proposal for the setting-up of a Sarawak APM training hall which will serve as a base to strengthen the members skills.
