- Roadway Still Open Despite Flash Flood on East Coast Highway 2

The flash flood that occurred at Kilometre (KM) 393 on the East Coast Highway 2 (LPT 2), from the direction of Ajil to Kuantan, has subsided.
Although the highway is filled with overflowing water from a nearby slope, cars can still travel through it.

The incident which happened around 11 am today thought to have been brought on by water overflow from a nearby slope, according to Hulu Terengganu District Police Chief DSP Hasmeera Hassan.
However, there have been no reported accidents, and vehicles can still travel the road in both directions as usual.
