- KTM Komuter Will Operate 24-Hours From 4-6 Feb For Thaipusam
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has announced an extension of the KTM Komuter service for the upcoming Thaipusam celebrations. During Thaipusam, KTM Komuter would be operating around the clock for 3 days and 2 nights from 4 to 6 Feb 2023 to Batu Caves.
During these three days, 24 stations would be operating 24-hours. The stations are Batu Caves, Bank Negara, Seremban, Shah Alam, Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Padang Jawa, Kg Batu, KL Sentral, Kg Dato Harun, Bukit Badak, Batu Ketonmen, Bandar Tasek Selatan, Seri Setia, Klang, Sentul, Kajang, Subang Jaya, Jalan Kastam, Putra, Nilai, Batu Tiga and Pelabuhan Klang.
The train frequency after the usual operating hours would be hourly for both Batu Caves to Sg Gadut Line and Pelabuhan Klang to Batu Caves Line beginning from 11pm. A total of 24 trains would be allocated equally for both the lines. Users are advised to check www.ktmb.com.my for the regular hours timetable and schedule.
All trips on the KTM Komuter would be only available through cashless payment mediums such as Komuter Link or Touch ‘n Go card. The Komuter Link card is available for purchase at RM5. All senior citizens, childrens between the age of 2 to 12 and persons with disability (PwD) would be entitled to a 50% discounted fare.
