Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), sole distributor for Ford Malaysia, sees its local network strengthened further as it officially opened the doors to its new 3S Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

The brand now sees a total of 8 showrooms operating in Sabah state. This latest outlet is operated by dealers Rightpower Corporation Sdn Bhd.

Located in Penampang, the 12,000 square foot facility saw SDAC invest up to RM1 million into building this new centre. It will now complement the existing Ford 3S Centre located in Inanam.

The new Ford 3S Centre sees its showroom takes up a built-up area measuring 4,300 square feet. Next to that is a service centre that occupies an area of 4,500 square feet.

In addition to housing a comfortable customer lounge with wi-fi connectivity plus a kid’s corner, the outlet is also primed with a fully equipped service centre featuring four service bays staffed by a team of 16 Ford’s service professionals.

“Sabah is a very exciting market with a high demand for our Next-Generation Ford Ranger,” said Managing Director of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford, Turse Zuhair.

“As we continue to expand our customer base in Kota Kinabalu, we are pleased to introduce Rightpower Corporation as our second dealership, targeted at expanding to customers in the Penampang district’’ he added.

Aside from that, the new showroom in Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, opens from 8AM to 5.30PM from Mondays through Saturdays, and from 9AM to 3PM on Sundays.
