Beam Mobility Malaysia

Beam Mobility has been in Malaysia since 2019 and is now present in six cities: Kuala Lumpur, Ampang Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Kuantan, and Langkawi. Beam has always prioritized the safety of their users and everyone around them. Before releasing their vehicles onto the streets for Malaysians to use, they carry out stringent tests to ensure that they are safe for mass, daily use.

In Malaysia, all of Beam's e-scooters are outfitted with Internet of Things (IoT) devices that meet the industry's highest global standards. This enables Beam to track the precise location of every e-scooter at all times, ensuring that any inappropriate use or placement of vehicles can be identified and resolved immediately by Beam Rangers, the company's on-the-ground operations team. To ensure durability, all of Beam's e-scooters are made of aircraft-grade aluminium, and the batteries installed have undergone rigorous testing, including extreme fire conditions, and are certified with the highest levels of international safety.

Furthermore, all Beam e-scooters are subjected to regular checks and maintenance by the on-site operations team to ensure that the hardware is in good working order and safe to use. Finally, all of Beam's e-scooters in Malaysia are always identifiable because they have licence plates installed, and users are required to register for an account using personal information and age verifications to prevent underage citizens from using them.
