Raya 2023, 7 Non Compoundable Traffic Offences Starting April 18 to 27
This upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration, there are seven traffic offences that WILL NOT be compoundable.
According to JPJ's official Facebook page, it shares that the non-compoundable traffic offences consist of using mobile phones while driving, disobeying traffic light regulations, and driving on emergency lanes.
Following that, even driving over the speed limit, overtaking on double lines, queue cutting and not wearing a seat belt (or helmet) also included in the lists.
Thus, those arrested for these offences during its 10-day Hari Raya traffic operation starting from tomorrow April 18 to 27 will be issued a compound fine.
This aligns with JPJ’s initiative to have a road safety campaign which was held in Bangi last week. Now that Raya just has a few days left, it’s best to obey the traffic rules so that everyone gets to their destination safely.
