- All-New Fiat 600 Spied with Familiar Front Fascia & Larger Dimensions
The beloved Fiat 500 appears to be leaving Fiat's lineup, as spy photographs from the Instagram account "cochespias" recently revealed the brand is performing a commercial video shoot session of the 500's replacement, the Fiat 600, on the streets of Italy.
Based on the photographs, the '600' emblem adores the front grill area, as well as the special registration number "FI 600 AT." Although the front brand appearance appears to be comparable to the elder 500 sibling, the similarities end there because the 600 is a larger product from the brand.
The most noticeable characteristic on the front fascia of the Fiat 600 is the fairly "feminine" appearing headlight with the DRLs situated at the bottom half. The bumper also has two opposing half moon lights that could be turn signal lights.
The Fiat 600, according to Carscoops, would have a circular instrument cluster housing similar to the Mini. Also present is a huge rectangular infotainment system mounted high up on the dash.
The Fiat 600, which is larger than the 500, is projected to ride on the Stellentis CMP/e-CMP underpinnings used by the group's other brands such as the Jeep Avenger, Citreon C4, and Peugeot 2008. This adaptable platform can support both combustion and electric propulsion.
The Fiat 600 is believed to be powered by a single motor with 154HP and torque of 260Nm. A 54kWh nickel manganese cobalt lithium-ion battery with a range of 400 km would power this electric motor.
Based on the unearthed photographs and commercial shot, we are certain that the Fiat 600 is nearly ready for production, and we can expect it to be released no later than 2024.
