Cycle And Carriage's (C&C) Glenmarie body and paint centre has been upgraded to the highest Mercedes-Benz accreditation status of Centre of Competence.
It is one of only two accredited body and paint centres in Malaysia, the other being C&C Batu Caves.
"We are proud to say that C&C Glenmarie has achieved the highest Mercedes-Benz accredited status to be able to provide customers with the care and service they need from a premium luxury brand which we remain committed to excellence," said C&C Malaysia chief executive officer Thomas Tok.
"We anticipate more Mercedes-Benz owners to benefit from the world-class repair services we are offering and will continue to upgrade more after-sales facilities to better serve our customers," he added.

The C&C Glenmarie authorised service centre is 86,600 square feet in size and includes a workshop, a body and paint centre, a tyre and rim boutique, a showroom with ten display units, and an office area. It currently has the capacity to handle 21 vehicles in its work bay and 15 vehicles for body and paint at the same time.

With the Centre of Competence accreditation comes the equipment and technical know-how to perform complex restoration works such as chassis realignment and aluminium structural welding, all while ensuring original parts are used and work is performed by qualified technicians.

Strict Mercedes-Benz Group AG guidelines must be followed in order to achieve this status. This includes a series of body and paint centre evaluations performed jointly by a technical specialist from Mercedes-Benz Global Service and Parts and the Mercedes-Benz Malaysia customer service team. On-site technical training is provided to ensure that its employees are well-trained and meet Mercedes-Benz standards in restoring vehicles to their original specifications, from minor dents to severely damaged vehicles.
