The Malaysia Autoshow is making a comeback after three years with some exciting new features aimed at showcasing the country's automotive industry's latest offerings. With the theme of “Mobility Redefined”, the event takes place from 4th to 7th May, 10am until 10pm at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS).

While the Malaysia Autoshow 2023 will continue to showcase the most recent vehicles on the market, there will be a greater emphasis on electrification through sub-events under the Autoshow based on segments: Malaysia EV Show and Charged, Malaysia Bike Show, and Premium Hall.

MITI Secretary General Datuk Seri Isham Ishak said that this event is an important milestone for the government because it demonstrates the ever-growing strength of our automotive sector.

"Not only are we seeing more efficient, safer, and comfortable cars, but it also demonstrates the growing demand for electromobility products in the domestic market - and we're all gathered here for the next four days to show them to the Malaysian public," he added.

"At MARii, we believe that the automotive industry is at a critical point, where advancements in technology and the growing importance of sustainability are fundamentally changing the way, we think about connected mobility emphasizing on safety, environmental protection and connectivity”

As such, we are committed to drive innovation, creating a dynamic ecosystem, and collaborating with our partners to lead the transformation of the automotive industry in Malaysia.", said Azrul Reza Aziz during his speech at the launch, his first public address as the new MARii CEO.

This year, the 5 main exhibition halls of MAEPS will be filled with 100 exhibitors, showcasing more than 300 displays featuring a wide range of automotive technology products and services that include more 2-wheelers and electric vehicles.

Perodua, as the show’s Platinum Sponsor previews the Electric Motion Online (EMO) concept vehicle, with a futuristic exterior design and outlook of its future in electrification. Most excitingly, visitors will also have the opportunity to win the latest Alza from Perodua, the event's Platinum sponsor, as the prize for this year's lucky draw.

The Autoshow outdoor area will include a variety of activities that will allow visitors to fully experience the market's latest vehicles and technologies. The test drive route around the MAEPS grounds has been expanded to 4.5km, allowing visitors to truly experience the performance and technology of the models and variants on display. For the first time, the Autoshow will include a motorcycle test ride area, allowing 2-wheeler enthusiasts to try out the latest motorcycle models.

Meanwhile, the Malaysia Autoshow 2023 AutoFest adds a new dimension to the Autoshow, with family-friendly activities. The AutoFest will feature over 100 activity booths and stalls, in addition to the various automotive-themed shows and activities such as simulators, virtual reality, e-sports, fire dancers, flea markets, and 80 food trucks.

Along with the Raya season, the Autofest will collaborate with the SoundValley Festival 2023, a FREE concert featuring Malaysia's top artists such as Aina Abdul, XPDC, and many more.

The Malaysia Autoshow 2023 promises to be an exciting event for industry professionals, car enthusiasts, and anyone interested in mobility's future. MARii invites everyone to attend the event and participate in discussions about how mobility can be redefined to meet the changing needs of consumers and businesses alike.

Visitors can purchase tickets now through MAS's official website, or simply walk in to the ticketing counter located near the entrance. Malaysians pay RM15 for daily tickets, while non-Malaysians pay RM25.
