The bidding process will take place online via JPJeBid until May 18, 10 p.m

To commemorate its 77th anniversary, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has launched a special "FF" vehicle registration series. The 'FF' vehicle registration number is the most recent running number series from WP Putrajaya, and the bidding process will take place online via JPJeBid until May 18, 10 p.m. As is customary, the results will be available the following day. Bidders will be notified of the news via email.

According to Transport Minister Anthony Loke, JPJ had previously earned more than RM10 million for a specific series. He is confident that this ‘FF’ series will bring in good revenue for the government. Putrajaya's 'F' plates move very slowly in terms of the regular number plate series. FB debuted in 2018, FC debuted in 2019, and FD debuted a year ago. The current highest bidding (as of May 14, 10.22 p.m.) running for the 'FF' series is reportedly RM 300,000, followed by RM 68, 000 and RM 3,333 by the second and third bidders.

What could FF possibly stand for?
