BHPetrol selects Maxis to be part of its wide-scale digitalisation exercise.
Maxis Bhd has been chosen by Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd (BHPetrol) to participate in BHPetrol's large-scale digitalisation initiative to improve customer experience at retail stations.

Maxis, as a network provider, will deploy its managed SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) to power BHPetrol's outdoor payment terminals at every petrol pump and POS systems at all of its retail stations in Peninsular Malaysia.

Maxis' SD-WAN has already been deployed in over 240 locations, with additional stations expected to be completed by the end of the year.

“This important partnership enables Maxis to offer our unique capabilities and experience in providing next-generation networking technologies. We look forward to working together to support BHPetrol’s digital transformation efforts," Maxis chief executive officer Goh Seow Eng said in a statement.

Meanwhile, BHPetrol CEO Ir. Azizul Azily Ahmad stated that the strategic partnership is in line with the company's commitment to leveraging the power of digitalisation to accelerate growth.
“We are confident that this partnership will enable us to foster greater innovation, improve operations, and importantly, elevate the overall customer experience at BHPetrol," he said.
Maxis and BHPetrol are offering exclusive cash rebates to Maxis and Hotlink users in conjunction with the collaboration until June 30. Users can take advantage of these offers by downloading them from the Maxis or Hotlink apps and redeeming them at participating BHPetrol stations.
