Limited-Edition Ferrari SF90 Livery Celebrates Ferrari’s Return to Le Mans
Ferrari has celebrated its return to the top-flight of the Le Mans endurance race this year after five decades of absence by launching a special livery for the SF90 Stradale. This livery drew inspiration from the marque’s Le Mans Hypercar contender, the Ferrari 499P Hypercar.
Ferrari 499P Hypercar car number #51 clinched the centennial Le Mans title
Already a special model to begin with, this WEC-branded SF90 Stradale has surely become more special since Ferrari car number #51 has clinched the historical win at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans race, not to mention the Prancing Horse did it on the 100th edition of this iconic endurance race.

Back the the SF90, this special model rocks a special Rosso Le Mans red hue for its exterior colour, complemented by the Giallo Modena-finished racing stripes, mirror caps and rear spoiler. And just like the 499P Hypercar, the special SF90 model also sports black roof and carbon fibre accents around its exterior.
Notably, the SF90 is hand-painted with the World Endurance Championship (WEC) logo and racing number #50 at its doors and front hood, with the numbering showcases the years of absence from the top class of the pinnacle of endurance racing. Other special features include the Tricolore (Italian flag) on the front splitter and on the steering wheel, plus a dedication plaque inside the cabin.
As for the mechanical bits, this special SF90 Stradale still harnesses the same underbody parts as the standard model. It employs a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 mill that works in tandem with a trio of electric motors – two at the front, one at the rear – to produce a whopping 986 HP and 800 NM. This technically makes the SF90 more powerful than the 499P Hypercar, since the latter’s power output is restricted as per WEC regulations.

For reference, the 499P Hypercar is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine that is mated to a hybrid system, delivering a regulation-limited total system output of 680 HP (500 kW).
The special-edition Ferrari SF90 Stradale Le Mans livery is available for “a select number of clients”, with the Modena-based marque yet to reveal its price tag. Whatever the initial asking price is, we are certain that those numbers will skyrocket in years’ time at any top auction houses in the world.
