Lingkaran Trans Kota Berhad (LITRAK), the concessionaire of the SPRINT Highway, has now announced that there would be a series of lane closures along the Penchala Link segment for 12 days beginning today (21 August) and ending on 1 September 2023. The lane closures are necessary to facilitate road resurfacing work.

The lane closures would occur daily during off-peak hours from 11pm to 6am in both directions. The stretch in question would go from KM5.0 (Petronas Penchala Link, just after the DASH Highway ramp exit) to KM3.0 (Bukit Kiara Toll Plaza), and from KM3.0 (Bukit Kiara Toll Plaza) to KM5.0 (TTDI exit ramp).

As the road resurfacing work would begin after 11 p.m., it would not disrupt evening rush hour traffic, but it could impair morning traffic because the Penchala Link tunnel is a major connecting artery leading into KL city centre for many. Please drive cautiously and obey all available traffic signs to ensure a smooth and safe ride.
