The Sungai Besi Expressway - @ Besraya highway - is set to sees scheduled maintenance works until Nov 30, prompting a series of nightly lane closures.

Heads up for Klang Valley commuters and motorists frequenting the Sungai Besi Expressway – known also as the Besraya highway. Earlier today, reports have surfaced that said highway network is set to see scheduled maintenance works performed.

The maintenance works being carried out are set to last until Nov 30, reports local newswire Bernama. During this period, the highway will experience a series of nightly lane closures done in stages and in both directions.

These reportedly include stretches between KM0.1 and KM21.9, KMB0.0 and KMB0.8, KMS0.0 and KMS2.2, as well as KMP0.0 and KMP3.3. Said maintenance works will be carried out from 10PM to 6AM with both road resurfacing and line marking works.

“We will also ensure that traffic updates and lane closure information at the affected locations are continuously communicated to the public through electronic signboards along the highway,“ Besraya highway concessionaires reportedly remarked.

The firm also advises motorists using this highway to comply with all instructions displayed on the signs whilst these maintenance works are being performed.

Additionally, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) will also reportedly provide support to the maintenance works mentioned.
