- All JPJ-Related Services Will Be Available On MyJPJ By 2025
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Director General Datuk Rospiagos Taha Datuk has issued a statement that all departmental services will be available on the MyJPJ app by 2025.
This move is In line with JPJ's goal of becoming fully digital by 2025, Bernama reported.
The app, which was released in February 2023, is primarily used by road users in our country to implement the Digital Motor Vehicle Licence and Digital Private Malaysian Driving Licence. However, JPJ intends to go beyond the two features mentioned above, with many other JPJ-related services already available on the app, such as checking summons, demerit points, bidding for plate numbers, and more.
All JPJ-related services, according to Berita Harian, will eventually be available on MyJPJ. However, Rospiagos stated that when this is possible will be determined by how well the system built on the app works.
He also stated that the department is currently in an interim phase and is in the midst of implementing a pilot project for the renewal of Motor Vehicle Licences and driver's licences among JPJ employees in order to assess the level of stability of the system developed through the app.
