MYAirline earlier today issued a suspension of operations notification via its social media and official web channels with effect from October 12, 2023, until further notice. According to MYAirlines, the pause of operations is necessary as the airline is facing significant financial challenges, and is undergoing shareholder restructuring and recapitalization.

In their statement, The Board of Directors of MYAirline expressed their deep regret and apologised for the effect that this decision will have on their customers, staff, and business partners. According to the MYAirline, great effort was put into investigating different partnering and capital-raising opportunities. Unfortunately, there is no other realistic option given the time limits.

Those impacted are advised to reach out to MYAirline via its customer service email, customercare@myairline.my. MYAirline also advises its customers to find alternate means of transportation to their final destinations as it for the time being would not be able to confirm flight schedules.

MYAirline Board also announced that it will exert all of its efforts to restore operations as soon as is practical, along with shareholders and the whole MYAirline staff. However, they would not be able to provide any particular date for the start of services again at this time.
