- EVAIMS Tap & Pay AC Chargers Now Available At Bamboo Hills
-full.webp)
Two new AC chargers from EVAIMS, a little-known charge point provider, have joined DC Handal's four DCFC charging stations at Bamboo Hills, catering to the ever growing EV user base.
Those who just want a slower power top-up while spending time at Bamboo Hills may find the two 22kw cabled AC charging outlets appealing. Consequently, travellers to Bamboo Hills now have an option between chargers that are DC and AC, albeit from different providers.

The EVAIMS AC chargers would function similarly to DC Handal's DCFC, with a simple APP-less system that accepts credit card (Visa and Mastercard) and Touch n' Go cards as payment methods (we think amount deducted would come from associated e-Wallet).
The cost of using the Bamboo Hills EVAIMS AC charger is RM0.20 per minute for 11kWh of power consumption and RM0.40 per minute for 22kWh of power use. However, be aware that when you enter the parking lot at Bamboo Hills, there is currently a flat RM5 parking tax.

More details about the CPO and all of the EV chargers that have been installed so far could not be found despite some research on the EVAIMS website or the Energy Commission's (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) website. Additionally, it appears that EVAIMS lacks a social media platform for user engagement.
