- Only 10 Tesla Cybertrucks Will Be Delivered On Delivery Day
Elon Musk has faced challenges on various fronts in the past week, according to reports from InsideEV. However, a potential positive development for his enterprises is the upcoming Cybertruck Delivery Event on 30 Nov 2023.
The Cybertruck is considered one of the most high anticipated EVs of the decade. Yet, questions have risen regarding the number of trucks set for delivery. Musk had previously asked the public to tone down expectations and admitted Tesla has created their own grave with the Cybertruck because of extreme difficulties to scale up manufacturing whilst maintaining positive cash flow.
At a recent Tesla event in Mexico, Tesla's Global Product Design Director, Javier Verdura, should have possibly dropped a significant clue. With approximately 2 million Cybertruck orders logged in, he hinted that only the first 10 units will be delivered during the Cybertruck Delivery Event. The rest would simply have to wait patiently for their turn to come.
While this is only a small part of a larger narrative recapping Javier's keynote speech, it is significant. However, knowing Tesla and its charismatic founder, everything is conceivable as they are attempting to rewrite the automotive rulebook, so we will have to wait till the end of Nov to learn the exact delivery number.
