smart Malaysia (PRO-NET) ended the year positively with 200 smart #1s currently registered, making a positive impact in the electrified mobility space. Besides that, the firm has also added few improvements to its novel Hello smart App, contributing to a more seamless ownership experience for users.

The inclusion of debit and credit card payments in the app, as well as the ability to purchase in-car internet data, demonstrates a commitment to convenience. The pricing for internet data appears to be reasonable, allowing users to tailor their experience to their needs. Internet data costs RM8 for 1GB, RM21 for 3GB, and RM30 for 5GB.

Furthermore, the integrated charging map is a standout feature in and of itself, addressing range anxiety for EV owners by providing easy access to 70% of nationwide charging points. This not only makes trip planning easier, but it also contributes to the widespread adoption of EVs by providing a comprehensive charging infrastructure.

According to Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of smart Malaysia, "As we introduce the enhanced Hello smart app, I am excited to highlight its transformative impact on your festive journeys. The app now acts as your personalised travel companion, offering precise details on over 70% of public charging stops and introducing a seamless payment experience through your credit or debit card. This improvement underscores our commitment to delivering an exceptional travel experience,

Meanwhile smart Malaysia also had ran a social media contest, 'The Lóng龙 Drive,' as a creative way to engage with the community and offers a chance for people to experience the smart #1 firsthand. It adds an element of excitement and inclusivity to the brand.

Additionally, the Lóng龙-evity Deals, especially the complimentary smartCharge Home Charger worth RM3,200 with a 2-year warranty and charging credits, valid on purchases made until January 31, 2024, and financing solutions starting from as low as 1.15%. This adds an incentive for potential buyers while also aligning with the Year of the Dragon's theme of prosperity.

Overall, smart Malaysia's approach of combining technological innovation, user-friendly features, and engaging contests appears to position them as a market leader in the space. The website and reservation option make it easy for interested parties to learn more and express their interest in the smart #1. It will be interesting to see how the brand evolves and influences the automotive landscape.
