To support Proton e.MAS 7 EV SUV and smart Automobile owners during the festive season, Proton New Energy Technology (PRO-NET) has announced a special 30% discount on EV charging fees.

This limited-time offer runs from March 29 to April 7, 2025, making "balik kampung" travel smoother and more affordable for Malaysian EV owners celebrating and travelling during this Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

PRO-NET also introduced this initiative to celebrate the Proton e.MAS 7’s dominance in the local EV market, reflecting growing consumer confidence in the brand’s electric vehicle offerings. Additionally, this discount marks the largest charging fee reduction offered by a brand across multiple charge point providers.

Proton e.MAS 7 owners can take advantage of this offer at any charging station integrated with PRO-NET’s network.

With over 2,000 public charging stations nationwide, PRO-NET operates Malaysia’s largest integrated EV charging network. This extensive infrastructure ensures that EV owners, whether driving a Proton e.MAS 7 or any smart brand EVs, can travel worry-free during the festive period.

PRO-NET’s Chief Executive Officer, Zhang Qiang, emphasized the company's commitment to making EV ownership practical and enjoyable: "At PRO-NET, we are focused on making electric driving practical and enjoyable for all. As we celebrate Raya, we want to thank our customers by making it easy and affordable for them to get home."

The 30% charging discount applies to over 85% of public charging stations within PRO-NET’s network. EV owners can easily access the offer by using the Proton e.MAS or Hello smart apps when initiating their charging sessions.

The discount will be automatically applied, ensuring a seamless and convenient experience. With this initiative, PRO-NET aims to continue its leadership role in the country’s EV space by providing affordable and accessible charging solutions for all.
