Tesla Malaysia’s new Supercharger at Pavilion Bukit Jalil goes live, featuring six Superchargers and two Destination Chargers.

Tesla Motors Malaysia (Tesla MY) has announced the opening of its latest Supercharger station, located at the Pavilion Bukit Jalil mall. This new EV charging facility houses six Superchargers (DC) and two Destination Chargers (AC), all of which are located at the B1 car park of the mall.

For the Superchargers, the charging rate is fixed at RM1.25 per kWh, with an idling fee of up to RM4 per minute when all the Supercharging stations are occupied. On top of the charging fees, Tesla users will also be required to pay for the mall’s parking fee, which its weekday rate reads at RM2 for the first two hours, where every subsequent hour is charged at RM1, with a maximum daily charge of RM15.

Meanwhile, weekend and public holiday rates are RM3 for the first two hours and RM1 for every subsequent hour, with a maximum charge of RM15.

This addition of the latest Superchargers under Tesla MY’s network sees the Sino-American marque now having a total of six Supercharging stations and six Destination Charging stations throughout the nation, offering a total of 30 Superchargers and 25 Destination Chargers. However, all of these stations can only be accessed by Tesla vehicles.

Besides its growing charging network, Tesla users in Malaysia can also do cross-border travel to Singapore with ease, as all Tesla vehicles officially sold by Tesla MY now come with new integrated support. This allows Malaysian-registered Tesla vehicles to access all of the services provided by Tesla Singapore, including navigation, payment gateways, technical support, and more importantly, access to any of Tesla’s Supercharger stations in the island republic.
