The 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi endurance race served as the season finale of the Asian Le Mans (ALMS) 2023/24 season last weekend at the picturesque Yas Marina circuit, Abu Dhabi. Following an intense final hour melee, the Triple 8 JMR (Johor Motorsport Racing) outfit emerged victorious in the event’s GT Class.

The intense final hour battle mentioned ensued after a one-hour red flag stoppage time. Out of which, Triple 8 JMR had initially taken the checkered flag in second place in the GT Class category. The class win initially went to the #19 Leipert Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO 2 entry.
However, the latter team were handed a post-race penalty from the stewards for a driving time infringement and were demoted to 7th position. In turn, this effectively saw the Triple 8 JMR entry promoted a position up from second to first, thus granting them victory in class.
