Honda Malaysia announced today it aims to shift 95,000 units in 2024. It will include a stronger emphasis of its e:HEV hybrid technologies too.

In a press statement issued earlier today, Honda Malaysia have outlined both their sales targets and plans for 2024. Starting with the former, the leading Japanese automaker has set its sights on shifting 95,000 units this year.

This latest business direction underpins a positive outlook borne out of Honda Malaysia’s stellar 2023 performance. At 95,000 units, Honda Malaysia is also aiming to capture a 12.8% market share.

Two new models will be launched by the firm this year, and the face-lifted City Hatchback is one of which.

Moreover, the firm also confirmed plans to launch at least two new models this year too. Honda did not name these models outright, but we can confirm one of which will be the face-lifted and upgraded Honda City Hatchback model.

Honda Malaysia also noted its intend to further emphasise its e:HEV technology in the market through a slew of its products primed with said tech like the new CR-V, Civic, HR-V, as well as the City and the upcoming City Hatchback facelift mentioned.

For 2024, Honda Malaysia will put a stronger emphasis on models equipped with its e:HEV hybrid tech. Amongst them are the new CR-V, the Civic, as well as the City.

Additionally, Honda Malaysia will introduce a multitude of business activities to increase sales momentum. Included are enhanced prospecting activities, expanded collaborative sales campaigns, and promoting the benefits of the Honda Insurance Plus (HiP) comprehensive automotive Insurance plan.

Besides that, the firm will also continue its efforts emphasising the HondaTouch application, which provides added convenience for customers to access vehicle service info, vehicle assistance, and updates right at their fingertips.

Critically, Honda Malaysia's 2024 plans also includes a ramp-up of its Honda Certified Used Car (HCUC) network.

New car sales aside, Honda Malaysia underlined its intent on catering to the growing local used car sales. For this, the Honda Certified Used Car (HCUC) network is now expanded to 32 sales hubs nationwide, in turn providing customers an accessible and trustworthy platform to purchase verified, pre-owned Honda cars, or even trade-in their existing ones.

Considering which, a special campaign will be held at these 32 sales hubs from March 16 to March 18 to amplify awareness of this expansion. This campaign will feature various activities and offer rebates worth up to RM1,000 (T&Cs apply) for customers to enjoy.
