Naza Auto intends to introduce a number of new models this year, particularly for Suzuki.
After a successful 2023, Naza Automotive Group hopes to surpass a 10% increase in sales volume for 2024. This will be fueled by the introduction of new models throughout the year and the growth of their dealer network, according to NST.

For the record, Naza Auto group surpassed RM1 billion sales target with a total sales volume of 4,000 vehicles in 2023.

Chief Executive Officer of Naza Auto Group Mohd Rizal Jailan announced that the company has changed some parameters in the way it examines its finances, with a greater emphasis on sales volume in 2024.

Naza Italia debuts the new, second-gen 2024 Maserati GranTurismo, featuring two variants.

"We do not look at the revenue, compared to 2023. We look at the volume of cars that we plan to sell this year, which is 10 percent higher than last year," he told NST in an interview.
In addition, Rizal mentioned that the company intends to introduce a number of new models this year, particularly for Suzuki following the successful debut of the Jimny, which is now available in two new variants: Rainforest and Black.

Looking ahead, Rizal has identified strategic areas of concentration to leverage Naza Auto's brand portfolio while exploring new possibilities like electric vehicle (EV). The company is currently exploring green mobility options, including public transportation and EV infrastructure.

"We want to focus on our existing brands because they have EVs. For example, Mercedes and Maserati. Suzuki is coming in, though I cannot share more details. Ducati is not in the EV market. We are looking at these three brands that we already have, to work and grow with them for the traditional products and also the new EVs."
Given the recent increase in service tax, Naza Auto does not completely rule out the prospect of future price increases. In accordance with Rizal, the business will take a "wait-and-see" stance and make necessary adjustments.
