- VW, Mobileye Intensify Autonomous Driving Tech Partnership
The Volkswagen Group announced that it has strengthened its collaboration with Israeli automaker Mobileye, adding new automated driving features to the production line.
The Mobileye SuperVision and Mobileye Chauffeur platforms will serve as the foundation for Mobileye's partially and fully automated driving technologies.
Future Mobileye technology will be used by Volkswagen Group brands Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Porsche to add new premium-oriented driving features to their model lineups across all powertrain types.

Furthermore, Mobileye is going to provide Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles with additional technology components for automated driving.
Oliver Blume, CEO of the Volkswagen Group said: “Our goal is to offer our customers throughout the world outstanding products with cutting-edge technology. In Mobileye, we have an additional first-class partner to shape this automotive future together.”
Volkswagen and Mobileye have worked together for many years. Blume, who is also the CEO of Porsche's sports car subsidiary, strengthened the collaboration after taking over as head of the Volkswagen Group.
Mobileye is already working with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, a subsidiary that manufactures lorries and buses, to develop a fully autonomous ID Buzz electric van.
