PRO-NET has clinched the prestigious “Best Overseas Pioneer Partner” award from smart Automobile.

Proton New Energy Technology (PRO-NET), the official importer and distributor of smart vehicle brands in Malaysia, has been recently honoured with the prestigious “Best Overseas Pioneer Partner” by smart Automobiles, a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Geely Holding.

This momentous occasion took place at the recent smart Global Forum held in Beijing, China, where PRO-NET was recognised by smart Automobiles for its exceptional performance and leadership in the EV market. On its way to winning the grand prize, PRO-NET has emerged as one of the top three candidates out of the 22 entrants for this prestigious award.

Part of PRO-NET’s success in achieving this award is due to its strategic network expansion plans across the nation. With 13 dealerships designed to offer exceptional service, PRO-NET ensures fully comprehensive support for both existing smart #1 owners and future customers of the soon-to-be-launched smart #3. On top of that, the 13 smart dealerships also offer charging services for smart EV owners, with a total of 36 charging bays available across nine states nationwide.

smart Automobiles also recognised PRO-NET’s commitment to leveraging technology to redefine the customer experience and promote sustainable mobility, which is exemplified through the Hello smart mobile app. This dedicated mobile app allows smart EV owners in Malaysia access to over 75% of the nation’s EV charging network, as well as keeping in touch with fellow smart owners via the vibrant community page.

As for the market share, smart Malaysia has rapidly become one of the top three preferred premium SUV EVs in the nation, despite having introduced just a single model to the market. As of April, smart ranks as the fourth-top premium EV brand overall. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the confidence and trust that customers have placed in the brand and its comprehensive ecosystem.

‘’This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. The journey of smart is not just ours alone; it’s also supported by our dedicated network of dealers who share our vision for sustainable mobility and our commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers,’’ said PRO-NET CEO Zhang Qiang.
