- PROTON - We Are Sorry East Malaysia!
-(1)-full_normal.webp)
Mistakes can happen, even during the best of times, but the key is to own up to them and not brush them off. This was the case yesterday during one of Proton’s biggest news announcements at the Proton Centre of Excellence (COE): the launch of the new Proton EV brand name, e.MAS.
During the launch, one of the slides presented to attendees and viewers on social media contained an error, incorrectly labelling the states of Sabah and Sarawak.
Proton deeply regrets this mistake and understands the sensitivities it has stirred among fellow Malaysians. The company emphasises its respect and celebration of all states equally and promises to take greater care in the future to prevent such errors.
