As the Malaysian EV enthusiasts eagerly awaits the launch of the smart #3 later today, let's turn the spotlight on its sibling, the smart #1 Brabus. The smart #1 Brabus is finally receiving a significant upgrade through Brabus' Individualisation Program, making it even more striking and distinctive.

According to Brabus, the Individualization Program for the smart #1 Brabus will feature a selection of bold and sleek exterior components crafted from high-grade polyurethane. This includes a unique wheel design available for this model for the first time, as well as typical Brabus interior upgrades.

The exterior add-on kit includes a Brabus front spoiler and two winglets on the left and right of the fascia. These additions not only give the smart #1 Brabus a more striking appearance, but also reduces lift on the front axle when combined with the front apron attachments for the side air intakes. These modifications have been developed, tested, and perfected in the wind tunnel.

The rear of the smart #1 Brabus is also enhanced with a beefier rear spoiler, ensuring optimal aerodynamic balance. Additionally, the new Brabus rear apron insert aids air flow and makes the IP-enhanced smart #1 Brabus stands out.

Buyers who opt for the Individualization Program can upgrade their wheels to either the Brabus 19-inch Monoblock Z light-alloy wheels or the 21-inch Z "Platinum Edition" Forged CNC wheels. According to Brabus, these wheels not only give the smart #1 Brabus has a bolder look but also enhances its agility. Handling can be further optimised with Brabus sports springs, which lower the EV’s ride height by 35 mm.

The Individualisation Program also offers several cosmetic touches to enhance the in-cabin experience. These include backlit Brabus logo scuff plates, Brabus aluminium pedals, and red embroidered Brabus logo black velour floor mats and trunk mat with decorative seams and piping to accentuate its sporty elements.

Currently, this Individualization Program is available only in Germany. However, given smart’s global presence, it can be expected that this offering will soon be available to international buyers and through PRO-NET in Malaysia perhaps. We are sure buyers wouldn't want their 4-year unlimited mileage base vehicle warranty vehicle warranty to be void by a simple act of changing aftermarket wheels elsewhere.
