It’s also worth noting that these figures include sales from both its Zeekr and Lynk & Co brands as well. Speaking of which, both marques also experiences sizeable 87% and 30% increase in sales respectively in 2024 too.
Geely shifted over 2.1 million vehicles in 2024. Included in said total were sales from both the Zeekr and Lynk & Co brands too.
Additionally, Geely closed 2024 on a high when its Dec 2024 sales totalled at 210,555 units to mark a 43% year-on-year increase as well. Adding to which was the fact this was the fourth consecutive month where sales exceeded the 200,000 units mark for Geely too.
A closer study reveals Geely’s fully-electric (EV) models, which account for 576,488 units from the total mentioned, marked an 86% growth versus the previous year. More impressive though was the 104% growth in plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model sales, which totalled at 311,747 units.
For 2025, Geely is targering to increase its total sales to 2.71 million vehicles - 25% more than 2024.
With these robust sales figures charted, Geely has set its sights to achieve an even higher sales volume target of 2.71 million vehicles for this year (2025). Effectively, said figure marks a 25% increase from what it already achieved in 2024.
On the subject of global exports, this grew in 2024 by 53% to a total of 403,923 units. Notably, Geely has been bolstering overseas export not only in the bulk of its left-hand-drive (LHD) markets, it did the same across a slew of key right-hand-drive (RHD) markets.
Part of Geely's RHD markets push in 2025 includes introducing the Galaxy E5 (EX5) in more markets like Indonesia, AUstralia and New Zealand.
Included in the latter effort is the introduction of the new Geely Galaxy E5 (also known as the Geely EX5) EV crossover SUV – the supposed twin to the Proton e.MAS 7 – in several key markets such Thailand and Hong Kong. This year, said EV offering is also poised to enter Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.
