Chinese automaker Nio said that it will launch a new product cycle in 2025–2026 with a robust array of both new and upgraded vehicles. According to the company, Nio's upcoming models for 2025 will feature an SUV under the Firefly brand, two SUVs under the Onvo brand, and the ET9 under the Nio brand.
CNEV reports that William Li, the founder, chairman, and CEO of the carmaker, announced in a live video stream on Douyin that the company will launch new products every quarter from the second to the fourth quarter.

“From April through the end of the year, all three of our brands -- Nio, Onvo and Firefly -- will be intensively releasing new products,” Li said. The company's top-selling models, the ET5, ET5 Touring, ES6, and EC6, will get facelifts that feature horizontal centre screens instead of the vertical ones that they currently have.

They will also incorporate Nio's proprietary Shenji autonomous driving processor. "The current time is the best time for potential customers to buy Nio cars," Li said, adding that the facelifted models will not be priced lower than the current models.

Goldman Sachs reports that Nio aims to achieve an annual volume of 300,000 to 400,000 units in the short to medium term and 500,000 to 600,000 units in the long term through updates to the next-generation platform and by introducing two new Onvo models and updated Nio models in the second half of 2025. These new models are expected to be major volume drivers, with Nio anticipating 100 percent year-over-year growth in 2025.
