- Zeekr G-Pilot: G-AES & V2P Soon via OTA Update
Zeekr Group recently announced that it is set to redefine intelligent driving with the launch of Zeekr G-Pilot - an advanced driving solution powered by AI, big data, and cutting-edge system-on-chips (SoC).
The G-Pilot which is set to primarily focus on safety, smart competence and top-tier technology is said to showcase Zeekr setting new industry benchmarks.
The G-Pilot which is technically adapted from Geely's technology lineup will be differentiated by Zeekr by offering different levels of intelligent driving to cater to diverse user needs.
According to the folks at Zeekr, no matter if drivers seek advanced automation or enhanced convenience - Zeekr's G-Pilot will ensure a seamless and intelligent experience on the road.
Some of the industry-first features the Zeekr G-Pilot will offer include - General Automated Evasion System (G-AES) and Full-Capacity Vehicle-to-Parking (V2P) intelligent drive.
G-AES enhances autonomous safety by enabling continuous evasive maneuvers, even at speeds of 80-130 KM/H. This is made possible through large model AI-driven training enabling the system to recognize irregular obstacles and improve its performance over time.
V2P intelligent drive meanwhile revolutionizes parking. With Zeekr’s map-free urban Navigation ZEEKR Pilot (NZP) function, drivers can navigate and park effortlessly. The AI Smart Parking Roaming feature further simplifies the process by autonomously searching for and selecting available parking spots.
Zeekr’s upcoming flagship SUV, the Zeekr 9X, will be the first model equipped with L3-ready autonomous driving capabilities powered by Zeekr G-Pilot’s top-tier H9 technology. The 9X, which will be built on Zeekr’s next-generation ZEEA 3.0 architecture, will feature cutting-edge intelligent driving domain controllers.
This system is said to integrate dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor chips capable of delivering a staggering 1,400 TOPS of computing power. The Zeekr 9X will be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show with deliveries expected to roll out in the second half of 2025.
Additionally, Zeekr has also announced it is committed to continuously enhancing its current line-up of vehicles over the coming months via over-the-air (OTA) update roll-outs to enable G-AES and V2P functionality.
With AI at its core, Zeekr will keep evolving its G-Pilot technology throughout the lifespan of Zeekr vehicles to ensure drivers always experience the latest in autonomous technology as the brand continues to shape the future of intelligent driving.
