BMW Group Malaysia Appoints Performance Motors Malaysia as New Dealer Partner

BMW Group Malaysia’s new dealer partner, Performance Motors, is a joint venture between Sime Motors and Ingress Corporation Berhad.

BMW Group Malaysia today announced the appointment of its new dealer partner, Performance Motors Malaysia. This new entity is born from a strategic collaboration between Sime Motors and Ingress Corporation Berhad—both of which are existing dealer partners for BMW and MINI brands in Malaysia.

Through this partnership, existing Ingress BMW and MINI showrooms will be rebranded into Performance Motors Malaysia, where it will be supported by a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals. Current Ingress customers can expect a seamless transition with no disruption to their services or benefits, including warranties and service packages.

Commenting on this new dealer partner appointment, Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, said, “We welcome this exciting joint venture between Sime Motors and Ingress, which further cements the strong foundation and customer affinity of our BMW and MINI brands here in Malaysia.

“The establishment of Performance Motors Malaysia demonstrates the commitment of our dealer network to continuously innovate and provide the highest standards of service and accessibility for our customers. We believe this partnership will create more opportunities to deliver the Premium Ownership Experience that defines the BMW and MINI brands while further strengthening our presence in key locations across the country,” Benjamin added.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Southeast Asia, Sime Motors, said, “For us at Sime Motors, our mission has always been to provide customers with seamless and exceptional automotive ownership experiences. Commenting on the collaboration, Mohd Sirajuddean Ab Rahim, Group Managing Director of Ingress Corporation Berhad, said, “We are pleased to continue our commitment in the premium automotive industry here in Malaysia with the establishment of Performance Motors Malaysia.
