2026-hyundai-ioniq-6-(3).jpgMore new official images of the face-lifted 2025 HYundai Ioniq 6 EV saloon have been released, and we now get to see its design tweaks in greater detail.

As reported prior, Korean automaker Hyundai teased a new and face-lifted version of its Ioniq 6 EV saloon late last week. Now, more official images have surfaced, thus giving us a better glimpse of its tweaked exterior design.

Apart from properly ‘teasing’ a hot new N-badged performance flagship, the automaker also expanded the Ioniq 6 variant line-up with an equally sporty new N Line variant added. Said new addition rocked more aggressive bumpers plus a striking – and perhaps divisive? – two-tone exterior paintwork.

Against the regular base model variant (right), the new N Line guise is easily distinguished by its angrier-looking front and rear bumpers, and its striking two-tone paintwork.
2026-hyundai-ioniq-6-(8).jpg2026-hyundai-ioniq-6-(4).jpgWhilst the base variant (left) seems to have retained its full-width, pixel-themed and all-LED taillight bar, the new N Line dons a different 'split' redux of which sans the centre section.

Other key design tweaks includes a new ‘split’ headlight and LED DRL clusters, the former now ‘hidden’ in the front bumper element below the latter DRLs. At the rear, the Ioniq 6 has also ditched its double ducktail spoiler arrangement for a cleaner new single extended bootlid spoiler element.

Another noticeable difference can be seen in the taillight arrangement. It appears only the base variant retains the full-width, pixel-themed and all-LED taillight bar. The sporty new N Line variant instead dons a more traditional ‘split’ taillight redux minus the connected centre section.

Besides the new three-spoke steering wheel noted prior, the cabin of the refreshed Ioniq 6 also sees a redesigned centre console housing more physical control switches and buttons.

Moving into the cabin and a second new image see Hyundai make good on its promise to keep physical buttons in the dash instead of touch-based controls. This prompted a redesigned centre console to house the and increased count of hard keys versus the pre-facelift version.

Though a full view of the dash remains obscure, we can thankfully see a separate climate control display panel remains, and it’s slightly bigger now too. For the Korean market, side mirrors will be replaced with side cameras, hence the extra screens at the corners of the dash.

That aside, we’ve also noted the new three-spoke steering wheel design prior,  as well as the revised door panels. The latter suggests that the Korean automaking giant is promising to trim the cabin with nicer materials throughout as well.

Technical details remains unconfirmed still, but the Ioniq 6 is widely tipped to continue with its current range of single- and dual-motor setups available. As a refresher, the most efficient of the lot promises up to 614 KM of WLTP range whilst the peppiest delivers 0-100 KM/H dashes in 5.1 secs.

Expect no  changes for battery capacities too, at least for the regular variants slotted below the upcoming new N-badged performance flagship mentioned. For reference, the Ioniq 6 is offered with either a 53 KWh or 77.4 kWh pack.

Note the 'hidden' tease for the upcoming Hyuundai Ioniq 6 N performance flagship here.

Expect more details once this face-lifted new model year version goes on sale very soon this year. As for the new Ioniq 6 N performance flagship, it is expected to be unveiled in July this year.

For now, what do you folks reckon? Is the sporty new N Line variant of Hyundai’s streamliner-shaped EV saloon tickling your fancy? Do you dig the cleaner new derriere? Share your take in the comments below then…
