- JLR Refreshes Range Rover Logo As First EV Nears Debut
For the first time in over 50 years, Range Rover is switching things up with a brand-new logo that’s clean, clever, and just plain cool.
The new design features an upright ‘R’ stacked over its mirrored twin, creating a sleek diamond shape in the negative space. It’s clean and modern, though some say it gives off Gucci, Goyard, or even Louis Vuitton vibes.
With its first-ever fully electric Range Rover launching later this year, this new look is a sign that the brand’s ready for its next big chapter.
According to JLR who spoke to Autocar, this new logo isn’t replacing it, it’s just adding a fresh layer to the brand’s style, made for places where the full badge doesn’t quite fit, like digital screens, packaging, and swanky event setups.
“The new motif is meant for labels, repeating patterns, and places where a full badge would feel out of place,” the company explained.
It’s all part of JLR’s new “House of Brands” approach, basically giving each of its iconic names (Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover, Discovery, and Defender) its own spotlight.
But what everyone’s really buzzing about is that electric Range Rover.
More than 61,000 people have already joined the waitlist, and according to JLR, the car is going through the most intense testing of any Range Rover, ever.
According to Thomas Müller, JLR’s head of product engineering the car is already outperforming some of their top petrol models
