McLaren Celebrates Tenth F1 Constructors’ Win with 10-Unit-Only Artura Spider

The new McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition celebrates the marque’s tenth F1 Constructors' Championship win.
While the 2026 season of Formula One (F1) is about to kick off in one month’s time, McLaren is still in celebratory mode, as the automaker reveals a new special edition model to commemorate its tenth F1 World Constructors' Championship in 2025. Known as the McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition, only ten units of this commemorative special will be built.

The makeover for this 10-unit-only special was handled by the marque’s own bespoke arm, McLaren Special Operations (MSO), as the team started with the special hand-painted livery finished in Myan Orange and Onyx Black, featuring graphics inspired by the championship-winning F1 car, the McLaren MCL39.

Several commemorative easter eggs have also been scattered around the exterior, including the painted ‘10’ logo wrapped around stars that outline McLaren’s past title-winning racers, while the 10-spoke Super-Lightweight Dynamo forged alloy wheels also play around the ‘10’ championships theme. Not to forget, all the badges are now finished in black to match the wheels, and the sporty dual-piped exhaust system wraps up the exterior makeover for this special convertible.

Inside, the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition continues its commemorative decorations with the ‘10’ headrest embroidery finished in contrasting McLaren Orange over the Jet Black nappa leather upholstery, plus special carbon sill plates that are signed by McLaren’s 2025 F1 drivers. Each car also gets a bespoke plaque listing all of McLaren’s wins, poles, and fastest laps from the championship season to appease the F1 geek in you.
To no one’s surprise, this special Artura Spider carries no mechanical changes over the standard model, as it still features a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain that produces a combined output of 690 hp and 720 Nm. This setup enables the convertible to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in three seconds flat, plus a pure electric range of up to 33 km—enough for your daily coffee run or an emission-free parade along with other Artura Spider owners.

As mentioned earlier, only 10 units of this ultra-special McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition will be made available, and we’d reckon all 10 of them will be spoken for in no time. Predictably, no pricing details were given, but it’ll surely be more than what McLaren asks for a standard Artura Spider, which currently retails for RM3.4 million in our market.
