- MAM Malaysia Festival of Speed Returns for 2025 – Aug 15–17, SIC
The MAM Malaysia Festival of Speed returns this year, set to take place at the Sepang International Circuit from Aug 15 to 17.
Following the success of its debut edition, the Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), has announced the return of the MAM Malaysia Festival of Speed (MFOS) this year.
Set to take place from Aug 15 to 17, 2025, the second edition of the MFOS will be held at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC), where once again it will feature a diverse mix of four-wheel and two-wheel disciplines, including:
- Karting Sprint
- Karting Slalom
- Rally
- Gymkhana (Car)
- Gymkhana (Moto)
- E-Sports
- Pocket Bike
- Push Bike – Demo
While the festival welcomes participation from both Malaysians and international competitors, the Pocket Bike and Moto Gymkhana categories will remain exclusive to Malaysians as part of MAM’s mission to develop and nurture grassroots motorsport talents.
Across all these events, MAM will be offering various age categories and competition levels in a bid to put strong emphasis on novice participation and youth development. The Push Bike Demo event, for example, is expected to return as a crowd favourite, attracting young enthusiasts into the excitement of the motorsport world.
MAM President Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir
“We are excited to bring back the Malaysia Festival of Speed for its second year. The overwhelming response from the motorsport community, families, and fans has motivated us to make this year’s event even more impactful,” said Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir, President of MAM.
“This festival is more than just racing, it’s about growing Malaysia’s motorsport culture, fostering young talent, and providing an accessible, inclusive platform for everyone,” he added.
With the MFOS entering its second edition this year, MAM has announced some long-term plans to position the festival as a flagship annual event for the region, thus reflecting the body’s commitment to strengthen Malaysia’s motorsport ecosystem in the future.
