2026 Proton Saga MC3 Open for Booking – 3 Variants, Est. RM40K to RM50K

Bookings for the 2026 Proton Saga MC3 have officially opened, featuring 3 variants with estimated prices between RM40,000 and RM50,000.
Following its first public appearance at the ASEAN 2025 summit and the exclusive media preview, the all-new 2026 Proton Saga MC3 is now open for booking. Announced via a special livestream event last night, a total of three variants of the new Saga will be available, with estimated prices ranging from RM40,000 to RM50,000.
Also revealed last night by Proton’s newly appointed Deputy CEO Datuk Abdul Rashid Musa is the special early-bird package for this new A-segment sedan. Those who booked the new Saga MC3 from Nov 10 until its launch date (TBA) will be entitled to a one-year or 20,000 km free service package including parts and labour, plus a special edition Saga Touch ‘n Go card.
That said, the car must be registered before the end of this year, and this special offer is limited to the first 20,000 units of the new Saga.

As detailed prior, three variants of the new Saga will be made available, namely Standard, Executive, and Premium. All these variants are powered by the same, new 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated i-GT engine rated at 120 PS and 150 Nm, which drives the front wheels (FWD) via either a 4-speed AT (Standard & Executive) or a CVT automatic (Premium).

Underpinning the same AMA platform that has now been reinforced for better safety and stability, the new Saga now spans 4,390 mm long, 1,690 mm wide, and has a wheelbase of 2,465 mm. Some other exterior highlights include full LED headlights with L-shaped DRLs, a new front grille design with Songket weave inserts, new LED taillights with a full-width light bar for the Premium, 14- to 15-inch wheel options, and many more.

As for its interior, the biggest highlight for the Saga MC3 is the new 9-inch touchscreen (Premium & Executive only) that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, as well as a reverse camera view system. Said display is mated to a 7-inch digital metre cluster, while other amenities primed here include multiple USB charging ports, fabric or leather upholstery options, and many more.

Another main highlight for the new Saga is on the safety front, where the top-spec Premium variant comes with a slew of ADAS functions like forward collision warning and prevention (FCW & AEB) plus Front Departure Alert (FDA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane-Change Assist (LCA), and Door Opening Warning (DOW).
