- JPJ Warns Public Against Fake “Free Driving Licence” TikTok Scams

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has warned the public about fake TikTok posts claiming people can get free driving licences without any tests.
Some of these videos even used photos of senior Transport Ministry officials, including secretary-general Datuk Seri Jana Santhiran Muniayan, to make them appear official.
JPJ said the accounts and advertisements are entirely fraudulent and have no connection with the department.
“Members of the public are advised not to be deceived by unauthorised advertisements or accounts to avoid confusion and losses,” it added.
The department emphasized that these scams are meant to mislead people into thinking they can skip proper procedures. All legitimate driving licences must go through official testing and verification.
JPJ urged anyone who spots suspicious offers to check directly with the department.

Complaints can be submitted via the JPJ Official Complaint Portal at https://jpj.spab.gov.my for quick action.
