Though renowned as a brand that makes popular consumer electronics like vacuum cleaners, the Dreame brand is about to embark on a moonshot with an EV supercar.

Though renowned for making household electronics – vacuum cleaners, in particular, Chinese firm Dreame is set to embark on a moonshot of sorts with its new Dreame Auto division. What’s notable is what said new division will debut with.

Part of its aptly ambitious “Starry Sky Plan”, Dreame Auto just teased what it will bow at the upcoming 2026 edition of the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2026) in Las Vegas in less than two weeks – an all-electric (EV) supercar boasting over 1,000 hp.

Certainly, the teaser images released by Dreame Auto of its upcoming - and still unnamed - EV supercar are fuelling exciting speculation.

From the trio of teaser images released, this upcoming EV supercar sports a long and low body structure, pronounced front and rear fenders that create an aggressive and wide stance, distinct forward LED lighting signature, large intakes, as well as side aero bits.

One notable trait include hidden A-pillars, as well as striking six-spoke petal-styled rolling stock matched with a six-bolt hub structure. Chinese sources online even report the possibility of carbon ceramic brakes being fitted, but this bit remains to be seen still.

Key aerodynamic design elements brimmed encompasses a massive, fixed rear spoiler brimmed with endplates that extend downwards plus a dual-layer rear diffuser. Typical of Chinese EVs, you’ll find full-width LED rear lighting featuring a 3D dot matrix look.

An output over 1,000 hp plus the ability to despatch 0-100 km/h sprints in around 1.8 secs are what's rumoured, plus a novel refrigerant-based forced cooling tech.

As this is a teaser, technical specs are next to scarce, but reputable Chinese sources online report an EV powertrain that outputs over 1,000 hp plus the ability to to despatch 0-100 km/h in around 1.8 secs.

Reports online also suggest the possible adoption of a novel refrigerant-based forced cooling technology – a tech that can cool the electric drive system as low as 15 degrees celcius. Of course, much of this remains to be seen still.

Critically, this EV supercar’s debut at CES 2026 will also shed more light into the direction that Dreame Auto plans to undertake. Prior to this, the division reportedly has a strategy targeting both ultra-high-performance and large luxury EVs.

Expect more details once this supercar is officially previewed at CES 2026 in less than two weeks.
